About This Place

Blondie's Pizzeria & Pub, nestled in the heart of Brownstown, Indiana, is a delightful destination for pizza lovers and casual diners alike. This charming spot on 100 S Main St offers a welcoming, down-to-earth atmosphere where the aroma of freshly baked pizza and savory dishes fills the air, inviting guests to relax and savor every bite.

The menu at Blondie's is a celebration of classic and creative American comfort food with a special focus on handcrafted pizzas. Signature offerings such as the Pepperoni Sausage Mushroom Pizza and the hearty Butcher Block Pizza promise a rich blend of robust flavors and generous toppings on a perfectly baked crust. For pasta enthusiasts, the Chicken Parmesan Pasta and the indulgent Lasagna Rolls are standouts, crafted to order with savory marinara sauce that coats each bite in comforting warmth.

Beyond pizzas and pasta, the menu tempts with appetizers like the irresistibly gooey Garlic Cheese Bread and the Bavarian Pretzel — a customer favorite praised for its satisfying size and perfect saltiness that justifies its price. Sandwich lovers will find delight in choices like the Pulled Pork BBQ Hoagie and Grilled Chicken Hoagie, although some diners note a preference for a better meat-to-bread ratio in the pulled pork hoagie. Fresh salads, including the crisp Buffalo Chicken Salad and the well-rounded Chef Salad, provide lighter options for those seeking balance.

True to its pub roots, Blondie's boasts a carefully curated craft beer selection, featuring local brews such as Salt Creek Beer, complementing the savory dishes and enhancing the overall dining experience. Patrons often praise the upbeat and bustling service, describing the staff as jovial and attentive, which adds to the inviting, community-focused vibe of the restaurant.

While some guests have noticed cooler temperatures within the dining area, the warmth of the food and the friendly atmosphere more than compensate, making it a beloved local gem that’s worth the visit. Whether you’re craving a perfectly crispy crust loaded with cheese and toppings or a comforting plate of homemade pasta, Blondie's Pizzeria & Pub delivers on taste and hospitality, inviting you to savor authentic flavors in a cozy setting.

Whether you're a local or just passing through Brownstown, Blondie's Pizzeria & Pub offers a deliciously satisfying pause with genuine Midwestern charm.

The food was good, very hot when we got it . My daughter had the pulled pork BBQ hoagie, She said not alot of meat more bread. She didn't like the pickles they used. She said it was good but not ordering that again if we go back. I got a pasta dish and it was good. I could not eat it all had to take home leftovers. We was very cold sitting at our table and noticed when we was leaving that the door was cracked open with the latch to lock door.

I love finding hidden gems. In the hills of the Hoosier Heartland, between Seymour and Bedford, lies Brownstown, the seat of government in Jackson County, and home of the infamous Jackson County fair. Brownstown is also home to Blondie’s Pizza, right on US 50 across from the historical courthouse. I have eaten at a Blondie’s Pizza in Berkeley, which is well-known in California, and I have to say I love my Hoosier Blondie’s way better. I have not tried everything on the menu, but my favorite so far is the Bombshell, which basically has everything on it. The crust is excellent and stands up to a loaded slice. You can also order a pizza with a thin crust, which is nice and crunchy if that’s the way you like your pizza. They serve the pies piping hot, straight from the oven to your table. You can see my steaming slice in the video. I have tried the stromboli, but prefer the pizza. If the stromboli were a little bigger on a better bun, and matched what is on the pies, it would be awesome. I would love to be able to buy it by the slice, but I understand a small town establishment does not have the volume to make it profitable to sell by the slice, besides, it’s nice to have a few leftover pieces for the next day. We also tried some of the ice cream from next door, sold by the pint. Not only was it amazing ice cream, with a fantastic flavor (carrot cake), we had to leave so we wouldn’t gain 20 pounds! I love Blondie’s because of the quality of the pies and the friendliness of the staff and owners. Blondie’s is an hour away from my house, but it is well worth the drive. If given the choice and I have the time, I will always make the drive to Brownstown for Blondie’s pizza. This is an independent, uncompensated review.

Amazing pretzel worth the $9 price tag. The lasagna rolls were made to order with your choice of toppings and had a wonderful marinara. The pizza was handmade crust and plenty of toppings and cheese. Staff was bustling and jovial. Would return and recommend. Beer only served here.
